It is my honor to welcome you to the official website of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Philippines. As Chair of the National Leadership Council for the 2024–2027 term, and representing De La Salle University (DLSU) as Network Host, I am pleased to invite you to be part of a growing community committed to advancing sustainable development through knowledge, collaboration, and action.
SDSN Philippines stands at a critical moment. The challenges facing our nation, from climate change and food insecurity to inequality and education transformation, require stronger partnerships that bridge academia, government, civil society, youth, and the private sector. Our network seeks to serve as a platform where evidence-based solutions are co-created, shared, and scaled for national and local impact.
During this term, our leadership will focus on three key priorities.
First, we aim to cultivate stronger knowledge partnerships that connect universities, research institutions, policymakers, and communities in generating actionable solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Second, we will expand SDSN Philippines’ membership through regional roadshows and briefing sessions, ensuring that institutions across the country are empowered to participate in and contribute to the network.
Third, we will actively incubate innovative solutions that translate research into practical initiatives supporting sustainable development outcomes. At the same time, we remain committed to sustaining and strengthening our collaborative programs. These include advancing SDG localization efforts with local governments and communities; promoting zero hunger initiatives and resilient food systems; supporting pathways toward decarbonization and climate action; deepening youth engagement as drivers of transformation; and advancing education for sustainable development across learning institutions.
SDSN Philippines thrives because of collective leadership and shared purpose. We invite partners, scholars, practitioners, and young leaders to work with us in building inclusive, science-informed, and locally grounded pathways toward a sustainable future.
Together, let us transform knowledge into action and partnerships into lasting impact for the Philippines and beyond.

SDSN Philippines Leadership Council

Welcome to SDSN Philippines! Our mission is to localize solutions for sustainable development in the Philippines through the collaboration and synergy of various stakeholders and partners. This website is a digital slice of the work of SDSN Philippines – from its Member Institutions to its Secretariat. We are committed to making information and initiatives regarding sustainable development easily accessible to you.
We’re excited to feature updates on programs and activities related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Find SDSN’s global publications through this platform too. If these pique your interest, we warmly invite you to become part of the network.
We continue to hope that you use this resource as a well of knowledge, and frequent it as often as you wish, as all our resources (reports, event articles, developing solutions, and more), as much as possible, will be shared without biases and limitations.
